Walking in a group is a great way to start walking and to stay motivated. You’ll make friends and
discover new places to walk in South Petherton and the surrounding areas. 
 
The South Petherton Walking Group is aimed at the over 50's and walk regularly. Walks are planned and vary between two and ten miles. On the longer walks we try to fit in a Pub or Coffee Shop and there is no pressure to 'finish on time'. We are not ramblers, just a group of nice people out for a few hours healthy, social activity. If you have a friendly dog, bring it along too, but please bear in mind we sometimes cross farm land and dogs always need to be under control.
 
Whether you live in South Petherton, or are a visitor to South Somerset, you are more than welcome to join us.
