School Farm - Muchelney

School Farm has been farmed by the same family for 110 years. Situated within a conservation area on the Somerset Levels, the majority of land is moorland farmed under an Environmentally Sensitive Area agreement. Although not organic, this method encourages wildlife, especially wading birds. We do not routinely use pesticides.

The Farm Shop sells our home grown seasonal fruit and vegetables, free range eggs, jams and preserves. From the freezer, our own extensively reared beef (North Devon Rubies and Angus) and free range Muscovy Ducks. We also stock locally produced apple juice, cheeses and honey.

Pick your own strawberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants and broad beans are available in the season.

Unusual garden plants in addition to the old favourites are available, including alpines, most of which we propagate ourselves.
